Pietro Elis Fraccaro was born in Venice, Italy in February of 1950.
Throughout his life he has continuously been working with the hammer, iron and anvil. As his life progressed these tools would become his passion and pursued as his career. Through his contact with artists Valeria Rambelli and Ottone Marabini, Fraccaro has embarked upon the unique understanding of restoring the historical value of a masterpiece. Essentially, Ottone has taken him to the doorstep of alchemical research. As Fraccaro maturates into evolving as an artisan he is again romanced by his childhood fascination with restorative work. This fascination has now become an arduous effort that enables him to fulfill his imagination and previous love of restorative work.
In the darkness of the forge with the power of fire, the hammer is guided by a keen eye to engage his expert hand as his years of talent emerge enabling his work to release its own colors of violet, indigo, red, orange and bright gold. The primordial metallic object melts away as he artistically communicates his finished artistic pieces.
