For one month only Titian's Diana and Actaeon has come to London. For the first time in two centuries, this display will reunite the painting with its sequel, the National Gallery's Death of Actaeon.
Titian's Death of Actaeon has already been saved from export by the National Gallery, which bought it in 1972 with the help of government funds and a nationwide pubic appeal.(read more in Keeping Titian: just £100 to remain in UK )
