During the 1960s the artistic production was centered in New York, a fundamental location for the formation of the visual arts during the second half of the twentieth century. The exhibition covers the 60s decade, with an eye set on those artists who spoke and traveled to the United States supported by a group of institutions responsible for the organization of events that opened the exchange of ideas beyond the local borders, such as Di Tella, the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires, Bonino Gallery, among others. Historical works and reconstructions illustrate the path from Informalism to Abstraction, and finally into Conceptual art. With the voice of each artist, Eduardo Costa, Garcia Uriburu, Minujín, Leandro Katz, David Lamelas, Noe, Puente, among others, we present a historical overview that reveals the energy and creativity of the decade.
