The National Gallery of Prague collects, records, maintains, professionally processes and makes publicly accessible art works of painting, sculpture and graphic art, as well as works from the genre of “new media” of both home and foreign origin and professionally researches them. It is divided in many collections, and among them, the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia houses the Collection of Old Masters with a permanent exhibition of Mediaeval Art in Bohemia and Central Europe.
