Skulpturenpark Köln, situated between the Zoo and the Rhine represents the cultural highlight
of the city’s north. Surrounded by busy multi-lane streets this wonderfully green park provides
an oasis of tranquility – and art. For in 1997 the personal commitment of the collectors Dr Michael
and Dr Eleonore Stoffel lead to the realization of this very special park. In midst of old trees 36 works
by 34 international artists display the variety and excellence of contemporary sculptures which form
the current exhibition KölnSkulptur 4 which draws many people now, not exclusively art lovers
(April 2007 - April 2008), curated by Dr Renate Goldmann
