Munal - Museo Nacional de Arte
	The Museo Nacional de Arte (Munal) was founded in 1982 as the Museo Nacional de Pintura. In 2000 it concluded a lengthy process of renovation and technological and artistic modernisation allowing it to re-open its doors to the public as one of the world’s greatest galleries: the Munal. Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes
	Conceived as the maximum representation of culture in Mexico, the Palacio de Bellas Artes is an emblematic pillar of the urban panorama in Mexico City. It was declared an Artistic Monument by UNESCO in 1987. Over 70 years old and younger than ever, it has an imposing and magisterial presence in the heart of the metropolis. The Museum of the Palacio de Bellas Artes is a space for reflecting on modern and contemporary art with exhibitions that encourage the questioning of traditional concepts and generate critical debate, in line with the concept of a modern museum today. It showcases murals by Mexico’s leading artists in works which not only have a great aesthetic value but also maintain a permanent dynamic with national and universal history. Museo Franz Mayer
	Located in a eighteenth-century building facing onto the Plaza de la Santa Veracruz, the Franz Mayer Museum houses the finest collection of decorative arts in Mexico and presents temporary shows of design and photography. The permanent collection allows visitors to gain an appreciation of decorative arts from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries, with a variety of places of origin, materials and styles. The disciplines included in the collection are silverwork, ceramics, furniture, textiles, sculpture and painting, as well as pieces in feather art, lacquer, ivory, tortoiseshell, glass and enamel. http://www.franzmayer.org.mx
