The Larco Museum, located in Lima in a vice-royal mansion of the XVIII century built over a VII century pre-Columbian pyramid, was founded in 1926 and exhibits in chronological order archaeological pieces that tell about 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history, a gold and silver collection and a collection of erotic art. The visitors can also enter the storage areas.
