The Guido Talarico Editore is presenting the fifth edition of the Talent Prize, the visual arts contest created with the aim of promoting, sustaining and developing young contemporary artists. The prize, this year under the Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, Roma Capitale and French Embassy in Italy's patronage, thanks to the latter sponsorship, officially enters the international scene. The Talent Prize 2012 , open to all those artists born in 1972 and onwards, and who operate in the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, installation, videos, is further strenghtening its important role within the major italian prizes' arena, thanks to the consistent quality increase of the works of art and the growing participation of the artists, who consider it an effective and nowadays fundamental instrument to increase their exposure and to add value to their work. All Italian and foreign artists born after 1st January 1972 can participate in the Talent Prize '12 award. For non residents, participation in at least one exhibition held on the Italian territory or an artist residency, as clearly specified under article 5, is considered mandatory.
