ARCO new director: Carlos Urroz

Yesterday, May 31st May, the Executive Committee of IFEMA decided to appoint Mr. Carlos Urroz as the new director of ARCOmadrid, the International Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid. Urroz was ARCO Deputy Director from 1994 to 1998 and is also widely recognised in the international gallery world, as he worked as director of the Helga de Alvear gallery and also as a freelance art and cultural consultant.
