Argentinian sculptor, painter and muralist Perez Celis died yesterday, August 2nd 2008, at the Otamendi Hospital in Buenos Aires Argentina. He suffered from leukemia.
Pérez Celis was born in Buenos Aires, in 1939. He had many exhibitions around the world including Latin America, USA, Canada, Europe and Japan.
%%imagen1%% His works can be seen in important private collections in National and International Museums and Galleries, as well as in the University of Morón, University of Belgrano, Mercedes Benz (Japan), Boca Juniors Stadium Bs.As., Patio de Madera (Rosario) and Fortabat Building (murals and sculptures).
Pérez Celis is considered one of the great figures of contemporary art.
