Russian artist, designer, photographer, typographer and architect Lazar Markovich Lissitzky, better known as El Lissitzky, was a key figure of the Russian avant-garde. His career began with his early illustrations at the start of the 20th century; he passed through Avant-garde experimentation, helping to develop Suprematism with his mentor, Kazimir Malevich, and ended with his work for the Soviet Union.
We remember here the exhibition The Experience of Totality, presented at the Museo Picasso Málaga- that offered to visitors more than 130 paintings, photographs, illustrated books, magazines, films and architectural designs.
