Pablo Ruiz y Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright.
Picasso spent most of his adult life in France, and co-founded the Cubist movement and collage as well as the invention of constructed sculpture. He is regarded as one of the artist who shaped the modern arts, bringing a new, revolutionary development to his artists explorations throughout his entire life.
Two of his most famous artworks are Les Demoiselles d’Avignon (1907), and Guernica (1937).
Every year, many exhibitions that celebrate his achievements are held around the world, as the latest Picasso Sculptures MoMA at MoMA and Picasso.Mania at Grand Palais in Paris; but we would like to remember other exhibitions that were particularly interesting, The Minotauromachy: Picasso’s prints in Madrid and Picasso of Malaga, the earliest works.
Recently, collector at Sotheby’s confirmed that also the demand for Picasso ceramics continues apace as Important Picasso Ceramics almost double pre-sale expectations.
