When the Centre Pompidou arrives to Turin: Matisse and his time

Palazzo Chiablese in Turin, Italy, celebrates the genius of Henri Matisse in an exhibition running from December 12 to May 15, offering the opportunity to explore and better understand the connections among the French artist and many of his contemporaries: Picasso, Renoir, Bonnard, Modigliani, Mirò, Derain, Braque, Marquet and Lèger.

Capturing “the spirit of the time”, the show offer some 100 masterworks, 50 by Matisse, coming from Centre Pompidou, in a nine sections and chronologically sequenced travel along the modern times.
