Videos from Sotheby’s: two paintings by Norman Rockwell, narrated by Martin Sheen

As one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, Norman Rockwell was an optimistic storyteller, interpreting the typical American with warmth and humour.

Two beloved paintings featured in Sotheby’s American Art auction on past 21 November, The Saturday Evening Post, Pipe and Bowl Sign Painter and Which One? (Undecided; Man in Voting Booth), are especially relevant in the wake of this year’s election – representing the artist’s compassionate vision for a country he truly loved, and a people who he believed were most essential to its greatness.
